Customer:
An internationally renowned systems integrator approached Boundless with a
request for proposal to broaden the two companies existing strategic OEM
partnership. One of Boundlesss first tasks under the expanded relationship would be
to construct a special terminal to be used by the integrators customer, a leading
fast-food chain, in its kitchens. The chain required custom software and a sealed
keyboard, both process-customized, both designed according to the chains operations
standards as well as its personnel training procedures.Solution:
Because of the well-established OEM relationship, Boundless was the first choice
to supply the terminals. We customized the firmware to meet their specifications, then
selected a manufacturer to provide just-in-time, high quality customized keyboards. We
adjusted controllers and interfaces to ensure keyboard compatibility. The customized
terminals rolled out of the Hauppauge facility within three months, meeting the specific
time frame set by the customer for the opening of its new franchise locations. |

ery few places in the world
havent seen a Boundless Technologies terminal. Often the equipment bears our name;
many times there is another, well-recognized label on our equipment: AT&T,
IBM, NCR, Lucent Technologies, Digital, Olivetti, Tandem, ADDS, VT, and Dorio, to name just a few. Our OEM focus has provided us with an extended presence in
virtually every continent.
One of the reasons is that we are a globally-focused company that
understands and has a history of multinational business. Because we comply
with a broad array of international standards and have longstanding, historical
relationships that extend around the globe, were easy to do business with. To
understand why, just watch a Boundless engineer (above), test emissions in a specially
designed all-copper room that ensures that European IEC standards are met.
Or listen to worldwide marketing strategies being developed by Mike Oliva (standing,

That said, ask the critical question: can
we ship fast, reliably, in large quantities, to anywhere in the world?
The answer is, "Yes, we can." Our normal build
cycle is about three days. Then, shipping specialists like Edwin Rodriguez and Karem
Mangaroo (left) make sure we maintain rigorous on-time delivery schedules.
Thats three days from the time the
order is received and the shipment is out the door, 100% tested, and with a proven
record for quality in the industry. Thats why our terminals are preferred by some of
the worlds largest and best-known corporations. Companies like Coca-Cola. Sears.
Safeway. Avis. Lockheed Martin. Pizza Hut. AT&T. |
