VIEWPOINT ADMINISTRATOR

Through a Windows-based user interface, system administration is intuitive and easily controlled. The Viewpoint Administrator provides "fine-tuning" control of the Viewpoint thin-client desktop environment.

In today’s diverse user community, access to applications can vary depending on desktop location (IP address) and/or by actual user login. The Viewpoint Administrator software provides control over both, by managing O/S and applications images configured for each desktop.

OPEN ARCHITECTURE

While the Viewpoint Administrator is specifically designed to support Boundless Viewpoint TC thin-client devices, development is underway to address interfaces with other major system administration/enterprise control software including Tivoli, CA UniCenter, HP OpenView, and SNMP.

Many of the features built into the Viewpoint Administrator are based upon the industry standard Desktop Management Interface (DMI) in order to achieve a high level of interaction with many of the utilities on the market today.

VIEWPOINT TC PRODUCT FAMILY

Viewpoint TC is the one thin-client device that can provide your organization with access to Windows, UNIX, legacy and Java applications. Viewpoint TCs can ease your fears about the costs associated with technical obsolescence and take the guess work out of predicting future requirements. Unlike other platform specific products that don’t provide flexibility to meet future requirements, Viewpoint TC is specifically designed to promote "customer-paced" migration. Simply select the Viewpoint TC model that best fits your current need and as requirements change, the Viewpoint TC can be instantly upgraded, from a remote location, via our Viewpoint Administrator software.
